My New Bible

I mostly write about what's in the Bible. But this time, I'm writing about my Bible - a specific Bible that I now own and cherish. I love to read the Bible because it has turned my whole life upside-down, for better. And I also collect Bibles (my wife knows my obsession with Bibles -… Continue reading My New Bible

In the middle of our conversation, my wife popped up this question - "So what is actually a victorious Christian life?". I paused for a moment and said, "Keeping the faith- as simple as that!". One heart

Jesus never wanted His followers' money. He only wanted their hearts. Jesus was not excited about huge crowds. He only wanted wholehearted followers - true, though few. Jesus never wanted to be a king though they wanted to make Him one. He was already a King, He said, of a far greater everlasting Kingdom. When… Continue reading One heart

Without a higher perspective, life is meaningless. Without faith in Christ and His coming Kingdom, our life and toil on earth is a futile exercise. But when we see life through the lens of Christ's teachings, everything changes. If you believe that His Words are true, your priorities change, your choices change and everything about… Continue reading The Other Side

“Welcome to life!”

18 March 201818 March 2018 Jim MosesLeave a comment

Jesus confronts us with a calling that challenges us to give up pursuits that we hold dear. Luke 14:26-27 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not… Continue reading “Welcome to life!”
