Prayer 101 is a wonderful book on Prayer written by the well-known Bible teacher, Warren W. Wiersbe. I highly recommend this book. This is probably the best book I’ve read on the subject of “Prayer”. Why?
- Wiersbe’s style is simple and easy to understand. He never uses complicated theological terminologies but keeps things simple and short.
- Though simple and short, the content has a lot of depth! Every chapter presents you a lot of thoughtful and meaningful, carefully presented Biblical insights into prayer.
- The content is very practical, Biblical and sound. You’ll be highly edified at the end of this reading.
Rather than diving deep into the vast subject directly, Wiersbe begins by pointing out common mistakes Christians make when it comes to prayer. And then he moves on to present insights into how to pray and what to pray for. I’ve been greatly blessed by this book. And I keep buying and giving out more and more copies! I thought I’ll post this so that you too would have a look and perhaps grab your own copy and be blessed.
I first read this book in 2011 and was really blessed by it. Now, we are using this book for group study in the fellowship I’m a part of.
