I wrote this poem at the dawn of 2020 to remind myself that Christian life remains the same every passing year: Carrying the Cross, hating every sin - little or big, persevering amidst odds and staying faithful to the call of Christ.

One heart
Jesus never wanted His followers' money. He only wanted their hearts. Jesus was not excited about huge crowds. He only wanted wholehearted followers - true, though few. Jesus never wanted to be a king though they wanted to make Him one. He was already a King, He said, of a far greater everlasting Kingdom. When… Continue reading One heart
The Other Side
Without a higher perspective, life is meaningless. Without faith in Christ and His coming Kingdom, our life and toil on earth is a futile exercise. But when we see life through the lens of Christ's teachings, everything changes. If you believe that His Words are true, your priorities change, your choices change and everything about… Continue reading The Other Side
I look to You!
Many are the works of the devil, that try to take us away from the Way of Life - even our own weaknesses are too much for us to handle! This poem is a prayer for help. When temptations invite And show me their pleasurable heights Help me see Your right Hand In which are… Continue reading I look to You!
Jesus, make me more like you !
Christlikeness is the goal of Christian life. God chose us so that we might know Him, have fellowship with Him and be transformed more and more like His Son Jesus Christ. And this is my prayer in this poem: Help me Jesus, more of your beauty see! Let your light shine in my wicked heart That… Continue reading Jesus, make me more like you !

The Lord has been a Rock to me - as He has been and will always be to… Continue reading The Rock
Love and Fear
This poem compares and contrasts the Love of God and the Fear of God. Some preachers emphasize the Love of God alone while some preach about Fear of God alone! But we need both - we cannot neglect one and embrace the other: Embracing Love of God without Fear of God is hypocrisy. Embracing Fear… Continue reading Love and Fear
The Only One !
We may possess many things in life but Christ alone can give meaning - without Him, everything else is in vain. That's what this poem is about. I have more than ten friends to hang out with and be carefree ! But there's only One Who can satisfy me ! I can find a hundred places to… Continue reading The Only One !
Who’ll be first ? The last !
First impressions are the best - but not so for God. Those who're ahead in the race might lose out in the end and those who're fallen might repent and come back with a stronger commitment - this is what the Bible teaches and I believe it'll do us good to reflect on this Truth… Continue reading Who’ll be first ? The last !
